In the times we’re living it’s not surprising that Safety, Manufacturing and Environment rules have become much more strict and demanding. Wanting to save and rushing make that sometimes we don’t pay enough attention to our equipments. Having a good maintenance should be our top priority, among other reasons, so they’ll last longer.


With a preventive maintenance not only will we make them last longer, but also we’ll reduce long term costs.

It’s recommendable to measure differential pressure to verify its correct working to establish and control maintenance and cleaning periods.

It’s of vital importance that the manufacturer sends instructions or recommendations to accomplish the spare parts replacement terms. Otherwise, the equipment may deteriorate much earlier than expected and it would need to be substituted.

The screen clean can be done with water, compressed air or soft brush, when mesh since is over 300 micron. When lower filtration, it would be difficult to clean 100% the screen, so it is recomended to replace the screen when it necessary.
